grid-packaging-tools software package provides System for managing source dependencies in large projects, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install grid-packaging-tools
grid-packaging-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the grid-packaging-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep grid-packaging-tools *
You will get with grid-packaging-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
